About Nature
Biophilia is the exciting new psychological theory championed by Pulitzer Prize-winning conservation biologist Edward O. Wilson, who believes our biophilial urges- the “love of living things”- plants, wildlife and the great outdoors is genetic, encoded in human beings to ensure balance, harmony, and preservation. “Attraction to natural environments is not simply a cultural phenomenon,” Dr. Wilson explains, “There is evidence it is a deeper, biological urge.”
If we are to thrive today, becoming one with nature is just as essential as it was millions of years ago. In fact, many therapists who specialize in “ecopsychology” believe that deepening our emotional ties to nature is as vital to our well-being as the close personal bonds we pursue with family and friends. When we honor this holy hunger by getting in tune with nature, we experience personal harmony.

Brillante-Justice, the owner and designer of As Nature Intended interiors, has over 25
years of décor consulting experience.
She began her career by working on staff for various retail décor
companies, then decided to venture out on her own and opened a retail and décor
consulting business in 1996. From the
beginning of the establishment of this retail store located in Historic
Downtown Melbourne Florida, her vision statement for this business was “to
surround oneself with creations that draw their beauty from creation itself, to
feel at home among all that the natural world affords.”
In 2004, the retail store was closed and the design
studio was moved to Roxanne’s home in
order to concentrate solely on the design and décor consulting part of the
business. With her extensive design background and for being mostly known for her
design work on both locations of the Space Coast's highly renowned "Essentials
Spa," Roxanne has become one of
the most sought–after design consultants in the Brevard Area.
Making all things “beautiful, as nature intended” is what she brings to
all of her many diverse art interests.
Roxanne's design and décor
consulting business continues to flourish as well as added ventures into
jewelry designs, known as RBJewels, and most recently adding culinary art by
creating healthy recipes and food styling which will be featured in the soon to
be released ECookbook. These new
ventures are a continuation of the philosophy and vision of “As Nature Intended interiors.”

circle by offering retail products once again, this time from our new online
store!
From that first vision statement created back in
1996, “As Nature Intended interiors”
has evolved over time to a broader spectrum that encompasses a lifestyle - a
lifestyle based on a philosophy that reflects what it is about nature that
soothes...not only your surroundings and environment, but also your body and
soul.
